JT Graupensperger promoted to office director

 

PHILADELPHIA—Pennoni, a multidisciplinary engineering firm headquartered in Philadelphia, is delighted to announce the promotion of John-Thomas (JT) Graupensperger, PWS, to office director of our Mechanicsburg, PA office and training center. With more than 20 years of experience in environmental science and a strong background in project management, permitting, and environmental investigations, JT’s leadership will support the continued growth and success of the office and its operations.

“We are thrilled to promote JT to office director. His expertise, dedication, and passion for environmental science have been integral to our team’s success. JT’s extensive experience and leadership will position the Mechanicsburg office to expand its services, support our clients’ evolving needs, and continue delivering high-quality solutions, says Greg Rogalski, PE, LEEP AP, regional vice president at Pennoni.

JT began his career with Pennoni in 2004 as a graduate environmental scientist.  Over the past 20 years, JT has been instrumental in delivering many Pennoni projects across the mid-Atlantic region.  He serves as an associate vice president, environmental division manager, principal environmental scientist in the firm’s environmental division, and environmental discipline leader for transportation projects. His expertise includes QAQC, project management, environmental clearance and permitting, wetland, stream, and habitat assessments and design, Phase I and II environmental site assessments, NEPA documentation preparation, and hazardous material investigations. JT is a certified professional wetland scientist and a member of several professional organizations, including the American Society of Highway Engineers and the Pennsylvania Association of Environmental Professionals.

“I am honored to take on this new role as office director. Pennoni has allowed me to grow alongside a talented and dedicated team. I look forward to working with my colleagues in the Mechanicsburg office to build on our strong foundation, expand our capabilities and strengthen our partnerships with clients and communities,” said Graupensperger.

Mark Kinnee joins Philadelphia office

 

PHILADELPHIAPennoni, a multidisciplinary engineering firm headquartered in Philadelphia, is delighted to announce that Mark Kinnee, PE, has joined Pennoni as principal engineer for the transportation division in Philadelphia. Mark joins Pennoni with more than 30 years of experience, bringing extensive knowledge and leadership skills that will further strengthen our transportation practice.

“We are very fortunate to welcome Mark to the Pennoni team. His track record of success in the transportation design sector makes him a valuable addition to our firm. I am confident that Mark’s leadership will play a key role in expanding our capabilities and enhancing transportation services for our clients across the region,” says Jim Markham, PE, vice president, senior engineer, regional transportation principal at Pennoni.

Mark’s career has spanned more than three decades, most recently working at Urban Engineers, Inc., in a variety of roles for the company across multiple regions. Mark is a licensed professional engineer in Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Maryland and Connecticut, and holds a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Villanova University. He has held a variety of leadership positions in several professional societies and currently serves as an Eastern Regional Director for ACEC of PA.

William Lynes joins Hampton Roads, VA Office

As we continue to bolster the region, William’s expertise and leadership will be instrumental in driving our growth and strengthening our services for both public and private sector clients in Virginia.

“William’s extensive experience and dedication to bridge design, preservation, and rehabilitation will be a tremendous asset to our team. His skill set and experience in Virginia, Florida and Pennsylvania will play a critical role in driving Pennoni’s strategic growth with our bridge engineering team. William brings over 15 years of experience in bridge design, preservation, rehabilitation, and inspection projects. His work spans multiple states, including Virginia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Pennsylvania. William has also served as an NBIS Inspection Team Leader for VDOT Bridge Inspections and has extensive steel repair design experience for bridge repair and rehabilitation projects. Earlier in his career, William worked for PennDOT District 11 (metro-Pittsburgh), where he managed in-house and consultant-led bridge projects, as well as the local bridge inspection program for local municipalities.

Tom Serpico to lead Lehigh Valley, PA group

Tom’s experience in site development, stormwater management, and infrastructure design makes him the perfect fit to lead our site/civil group.
